Bumblebarn Bell Tents

est. 2018

Family friendly Glamping in sustainable style on the stunning North Norfolk coast!

Beautiful natural canvas Bell Tents await you, equipped with real furniture, cotton bed linen, pretty lighting and all the essentials*

Kids will love seeing the horses, pygmy goats, alpacas and chickens (Alpaca Experiences and animal feeding can be booked in addition). There is also a play area with Mud Kitchen, Climbing Frame, Pixie House and Sandpit to keep them entertained.

There's loads to do and explore here in beautiful North Norfolk, or take a slower pace and enjoy the nature and peace, with woodland and common walks right on our doorstep and an extensive variety of wildlife and birds to spot.

Our traditional cotton bell tents are both breathable and watertight, they are truly a delight to sleep in!

Camping under canvas is a totally different experience from the polyester tents of today, and with our real beds and mattresses you'll get a proper night's sleep!

Our Bell Tents are all complete with vents and zipped windows. They can be fully unzipped and the sides rolled up for airflow, either with or without the 360 degree mesh.

Toilets & Showers

On site we have a composting toilet, a separate shower and a larger family/accessible sized room containing both a toilet and a shower, as well as a baby changing table.

Our Composting Toilets are cleaned and emptied twice a day.

They're easy to use, just sit and do your business. Throwing a handful of wood shavings on top of a #2 ensures no smells. Toilet paper, hand soap and hand towels are provided.

Our showers are gas powered and provide decent temperature and pressure, no cold dribbles here! They are free of those irritating limiters too, though we encourage people to think of the planet and not spend hours in there, however nice they are!

The covered washing up station has hot water, washing up liquid, scouring sponges and tea towels provided.

The Hive

The Hive Campfire Kitchen is the central point of our site and is a sociable, joyful hub of activity!

Everything is provided so you get stuck in and get as creative as you wish to get! Browse our recipe books, try your hand at open fire cooking, make a cuppa and don't forget to wash up your things!

Available for your (shared) used we have a central fire pit, matches, gas camping stoves, charcoal BBQs, two fridges, lots of pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, a kettle, teapot, utensils, skewers, mugs and glasses, measuring jugs and more!

There's space for everyone with internal and external benches and seating. You can keep an eye on the kids while you cook as the play area and tents are all within sight from this central point. The cosy nature of our site allows for both freedom and safety for little ones.
