Bring your family and join us for the first ever Roots Retreat @ Bumblebarn – a Glamping site with a difference, nestled in the North Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
With just four, furnished bell tents; Bumblebarn is an intimate, cosy site with an eco-friendly ethos and a truly personal feel.
During Roots Retreat we will be focusing on the connections we have with our true self, between each of us and to nature and the world around us. We will be guided by certified instructor Lucy, whose passion is to share the gift of yoga to help people find their happiness, balance and self expression. Lucy creates wellbeing classes and retreats both locally and internationally for people of all ages.
Each tent will comfortably house a family of up to two adults and three children for the weekend, and you’ll be provided with real furniture, bedlinen, towels, electric sockets and your own tea and coffee facilities within the tent.
Outside there’s a secure area with wildflowers, hedgerow birds and children’s play mud kitchen, sand pit and pixie house. There’s a family sized toilet and shower room, and a separate toilet and shower as well.
The central, communal kitchen area is where we will come together for our opening and closing fire circles, creative workshops and also to cook and eat. The weekend is self-catering, and there is plenty of space for everyone as well as all the cooking pots & pans, crockery & cutlery you should need (there’s even a cocktail cabinet…!) A fridge and freezer are also provided, as well as BBQs and gas rings, fire wood and newspaper.
During the weekend you’ll have the chance to help site owner Beckie feed the alpacas and collect the eggs from the chickens that live on the site. There will be five guided sessions with Lucy, slotted into the rhythm of the days and incorporating family acro yoga, forest school taster, seasonal crafts and alpaca yoga where the alpacas will be joining us on the campsite.
Plenty of free time will be available for cooking and eating, relaxing, exploring and playing.
The cost of the weekend is £235 per tent, this includes all linen and towels and all activities for a family of up to 2 adults and 3 children. There are only four tents available for this special weekend, so please book swiftly to avoid disappointment. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
